I have an Intake manifold for a tripple carb for a 280 head. It should fit a 240 head RIGHT?!?!?

I don't think so.

I believe the ports on the 240 head are round, while the ones on the 280 are square. Also, the bolt pattern is different for an FI head than for the carbbed 240 head. See what other type of answers you get here...it's been quite some time since I've seen a 280 head.

Intake ports are same. they are both round ports. bolt pattern is same too because you can put carb intake on L28E. I think ZZZZZ was thinking about exhuast
