Okay, how do I word this so I don't come off as an idiot. Alright, I'm learning about how to work on cars for the first time with my Z. I've learned an awful lot already, mostly from this list and my own curiosity. But, there are a few things I don't understand. I know how a N/A engine works, what makes the power, how to increase it, etc.. But, I don't understand fully how a turbocharger, or a supercharger, or even a nitrous injection system work. I mean, I have an extensive science background and I have my own theories, but I'm just not sure. So, give as detailed a response as you want, I understand the physics jargon if you want to go that far. Basically I just want to know what each does, whats good about it, and what are its drawbacks and why? A lot, huh? I want to thank you guys in advance for lending me your knowledge as it will help me decide what to do to my 70 240z that I'm working on. Thanks.
