I was wondering if anyone had considered using a cold-start injector for a nitrous injection system. I would consider machining another hole for it just in front or beside the existing cold-start injector. The only thing left to do would be routing a hose to the Nitrous canister in the trunk and wiring a pushbutton in the cabin. Anything else I'm forgetting?

Steve,
I am not sure about Nitrous but I know others have used multiple Cold start valves for adding extra fuel under turbo applications, they are triggered off of boost pressures, one opens under say 10 psia and another at maybe 15psia. Then they use stock injection system. Very simple compared to a TEC-II or other aftermarket systems. Sounds posible to me though for nitrous.

I would be careful about proper nitrous/air distribution through the stock manifold from the cold start injector location. Are you sure the runners would get an equal supply? They may be designed primarily for AIR distribution (and the occasional fuel/air from the cold start injector).

Well, you're not describing how you're going to get your extra fuel in. Without the extra fuel, you'll go lean VERY quickly.
