Hi all, been waiting for my ad to show in wanted to buy, but for some reason it's
not showing up. I'm looking for the following.

70 thru 78 not too picky 240 or 280 preferred:
MUST, MUST BE TWO SEATER AND MANUAL
The car has to be assembled, complete and either running or minor mechanical work needed. The ideal car would be one that was taken off the road
because of frame rot. Major body and or frame rot ok. No major collision damage. If you have a car like this, or know someone who does. Let me know. Thanks. Oh, I'm about 50 miles from NYC. I'm serious and am ready to buy.

I have a 74 that I parked about 5 years ago with the intention of restoring it. Since I parked it I've redone two 63 Ford Falcons. Now I don't know if I want to go through with it. Drop me a line. I live in Southern New Jersey.

Sounds good. Let me know some specifics, including asking price. Is it manual?
What's the floor and frame like?

71 240Z series 1

I have a 71 240Z. It was parked about six years ago in anticpation of being restored. Unfortunately that oner and I have never gotten around to it. Its complete, but doesn't have the original engine. It has an early 72 engine. Its the early (12/70) model which is identical to the 70 models. There is little rust, mainly on the rocker panel, and a smallpatch on the passenger floorboard. Its not running, but it was when it was paked. It needs a new master cylinder for sure, but I don't know what else. I'm in Southwest Virginia (Danville), and the car would need to be towed. So, let me know.

Let me know if It a manual, I'm going to assume

For what it's worth the car is green with a tan interior, 4 speed manual. It has a professionally installed split Moon roof. Car is complete.(nothing taken off)I even have two brand new front fenders in red primer that I bought maybe ten years ago. Before that I had removed the two side draft carbs (still have) and replaced with 4 barrel. I had replaced the radio (Still Have it I think)with a Panasonic tape deck. Living at the shore has not been kind to the body. The doors have rust through at the bottom and the floors are mushy. I have not been in the car for almost a year. Last time I checked there was no frame rust in the front. Bill Nickles
