Dude this sucks! I got home the other day and went for the brake and clunck! it came off, I haven't had time to fix it yet, I've been using the gears to park it. Um... I guess my question is, have any of you had this happen before and if so did you have to take the passenger side seat off for clearance to work on it?

Same thing happend to me

I pulled the darn thing right off of my car to. I had a friend with a welding mechine help me out. we welded the bracket on and now it will never come off..LOL And yea you have to take the Passenger seat out to get to everything.Good luck.

the good news

The seat comes out very easily, 14mm socket two bolts in front, one bolt and one nut in back.

hahaha...i did the same thing...

i was all worried about it too when i pulled mine off...still havent put it back on...pulled it off 4 months ago...i guess im kinda lazy, or maybe its the work and being a college student...laterzzz
