Yeah ...DONT DO IT!! from what I have heard in the past from many is that the 4 barrel set-up sucks big time!!! You will lose performance because of the way the gas gets dispursed 3 &4 will get plenty but 1 & 6 will be deprived...Your best bet is to stick with round dome SU's or go F/I......

P.S. I remember reading alot of posts where they tried it but most went back to SU's or to triples....

I have heard of 1 guy that had a 4bbl carb on his z engines and did under 13 seconds in the 1/4 mile. In addition about three months ago there was a z car in readers rides that had a top speed of 150 mph with a edelbrock 500 cfm 4 bbl. I am using a 500 cfm 2bbl motorcraft down draft and in all cylinders the NGK plugs are burning the same. Just remember that 280-380cfm is the opimal cfm for these 146-168 cubic inch engines.
