I have been every where else looking for the clips that hold the rocker retaining arm springs onto the hydraulic lifters. The dealers do not show hydraulic lifters in the parts catalog. But they do show them in their service manuals. PLEASE PLEASE ANYONE WITH ANSWER. I may have to junk the car because of these parts being missing in the rebuild.

Don't junk it, you can try finding a used head first with mech. lifters.

Hey Man, listen to these guys, that head is a piece of ****, it will always be noisy and hard to find parts for.. I don't think Nissan even makes the lifters anymore. Get rid of it and get a head that you can adjust, I've been there and done that. Good luck. TIM

I can't beleive how quiet my turbo's valvetrain is with 210000 on the clock! I can here the injectors above the engine. Every n/a I see around town, I can here the tapping above anything else--doesn't anyone around here adjust their valves. I would like to know the options when I rebuild a motor (just because I want to go real fast) for the car, but If I never have to adjust a valve it would be just fine!
