How to make paint stick to taillight trim?

I have sanded and tryed several paints and nothin seems to stick to the crome
on the tail light trim on my 78Z Please help me...

Here you go :)

Hi Terry,

Get yourself some "BULLDOG" Adhesion Promotor. This product makes paint stick to all automotive surfaces. Works on chrome, plastic, vinyl, even on fiberglass to galvanized metal and glass.
Follow the direction and it'll work great for you :)
