Here is what happened. I took my N42 head to a machine shop to get it re-conditioned. I also had them seld up the combustion chamber to get higherr compression. After it was selded, the guy tried to correct the warping caused by heat of welding by pressing it. When he pressed it, the cylindedr head gave up and cracked. He used another head that I gave him and worked on it. He IS a nice gut and feels responsible for what had happened, and is willing to take whatever amount off the bill. I need to find out how much it's worth. It was in a pretty good condition. If you have any idea, please let me know. Thanks!!
