I am trying to install this new aftermarket hood and I don't know who made it. But the hood when lowered, it has a huge 1/2" gap on the passenger side of the fender and rubs on the other fender. Now this gap runs evenly down the entire length of the hood not on one corner or something, it's consistant so I know it's squared up. I can look straight down on top of the hood and the whole thing needs to move to the passenger side but I don't know how. I have changed hoods before so please don't think I new to this or anything. Thanks for the input.

How about ovalizing the mounting holes so you can shift the hood left/right to get better alignment? You need 1/4" of play. Is there enough material to do this and still have enough left for strength?

Hey Indy, older z hoods have attaching holes on the sides not the bottom.

Can you tweak the hinges slightly to the right with the hood open all the way, It may work. Don't know if you have a fiberglass hood, if you do you may have to try doing that at the hinges instead of the hood.
