Just recently after pulling off of the freeway I came to a stop and my 73 240z (stock)was idling at about 2400 rpm.I goosed the throttle and it went back to normal. So,I proceeded to head home and at almost every light and stop sign it would be idling at about 1500 rpm. Each time a quick goose of the throttle would bring it back to normal idle.A few days have gone by and this problem only occurs after I've driven for a while getting the engine to normal operating temperature.Previous to last week when I bought it,it was sitting for about 3 or 4 months. The only thing that I can possibly relate the problem to is that maybe the carbs are due for a tear down and rebuild. If anyone can elaborate on this problem,I could sure use some good advice.
Thanks
