If the car ran, and ran correctly BEFORE you removed the wires, then the only thing you need to look at is if you changed the position of the wire loom, or are running the wires differently than they were originally, or if you rotated the distributor cap (pretty hard to do, unless you're 180° off), or if you put the wrong spark plug wire in the first hole and went around in the right sequence, just one or two holes off.
Basically, retrace your steps if in fact you are replacing the wires that WERE on the car. If they are new wires, then all I can think of is that you put them on the wrong spot on the cap, or that the labels are in error.
