Ok, heres the scoupe... (79zx, 5spd)

when my Z is cold, the tranny is VERY rough, crunches lots, and is just really stiff to try and put it into gear. NOT GOOD! however as soon as the car has run for a bit, and warmed right up, it shifts smoothly. so at first I thought it was just low tranny fluid levels, thinking that while the engine is cold the gears cruch from shortage of fluid, and as it warms up, the fluid expands, and everything is find.. well, I changed the fluid, and it still has the same problem...

Is my tranny dying? Or is it my clutch? or WHAT IS IT? I would like to know, if possible, if this is going to be an expensive job, and if its safe to drive my car right now without causing furthur damage.
