Hey guys i need some help.
I just found a 1983 280zx in really good shape the guy wants $1200 for it.
I own a 1974 260z 2+2 it needs work, I can't afford parts I am only a teen no job at this point, The car is running, needs little engine work Its the stock engine but the carbs are flat tops, low millage, Engine rebuilt two times in its life, Solid frame rail bars need work tho as well as left rear fender, I sanded the car down and put primer on it, its front bumper is from a 280z, all rubber seals should be replaced, no leaks that i know of. It also has a full race cam. I still have su carbs and a few other parts that i plan to sell with it. The insides of the car need work, drash has crack and the drivers seat has a rip in it back seat is okay. Car is in good sahpe for its age, it runs strong. Needs new breaks, It also needs electrical work. This car can be restored if you have the money, I for one do not, thats why i am thinking about selling it. Another reason for selling it is that these type of cars were not ment for New England weather, I would hate to see this rare car rot. Please E-mail me with any questions. As it stands i am asking $2000 for it because it does have the flat top carbs and a full race cam not to mention its a rare Z.
So guys do you think this is a good deal? taking the 280zx and selling my 260z 2+2?
