How can I convert my rear drum brakes into disc brakes on my 76' 280Z. I would greatly appreciate any help.

you can use 280ZX single caliper assemblies along with the rotors. You will need custom fabricated caliper mounts in order to achieve this.

impact auto parts sells a conversion kit for around $400 but you have to prvide the 79-83 rotors, master cylinder, and calipers yourself
otherwise its not economical for a street car.

I read somewhere that the 84 maxima rear brake brackets would work check the archives. sam 75 280z

Toyota Corona

I was checking out a rally zcar last week on the web that had brakes from a Toyota corona. I'm not sure how the conversion was done, or how camplex it was, but you might look into that. Incidently Sumitomo manufactured the brakes fo most Datsun's and Toys back then, so you might see if brackets off a Toyota (80' and up maybe) will work. Sorry this info is pretty vague, but it might help you find a solution. Good luck!
