Hi there, I am new here so I dont know exactly what to write. I used to own a 300zx and although I loved that car I always wanted a 280z. They just capture that classic race car look. I am looking to immediately purchase a 280z. Preferably a 1976 or 1977. I am not looking for a project. Minor cosmetic work is fine though. If you are selling please get in touch with me as I am dying to finally own my dream car.

If you are not selling but have some options where I may find one please let me know. I have been making many google searches but there is not a lot available.

Thanks
Brian

There are at least 10 of them always for sale on Craigs List in the Los Angeles area. These are not hard cars to find in So Cal anyways.

240Z much harder to find

I think that you should start another thread with a better title and a better idea inside of how to get what you want. For example, you might suggest that you will pay for delivery. Or that you are looking within a certain distance of New York.

As it stands now, it looks like you're looking for a 280Z transmission. I overlooked it several times, but finally got bored and opened it. I don't look at the category (WTB:Cars), just the thread title.

Hey I have a 1977 280z S30 blk with the 2.8l i6 and a five speed trans out of a 1983 280zx. Im in Colorado and its from Arizona so no rot rust anywhere. No interior and i can send pics if youre interested. It is in good running condition on the rubuilt engine and trans. But dose have a flat spot in the fly wheel so grinds sometimes on start up.

Also include the price you are willing to pay.

I'm in touch with two guys who have 5/spd transmissions. I'm actually waiting to hear back from them as we speak. I'll have to make time to to let it happen. Let me know if you still need a trany.
