Calm down, my man. Take some tums. You're going to hurt yourself.
The picture in my book was ****, too. I finally located which little metal box was the fuel pump relay by taking the kick panel off on the passenger side, sticking my nose in there as far as I could and having someone turn the key off and on. If it's working at all, you can hear it click. To make sure it's the right one, take the bracket off and unplug the relay. If the fuel pump doesn't work, you got the right one.
I don't know what they cost new, but if it's anything like most Z parts, bend over when you go into the dealership. I went to my local Pick-your-Part (self serve) wrecking yard and pulled the whole assembly with all the relays out of a same-year car. I think it cost me less than $20 and solved the problem.
