Well, I gotta breakdown and put some time into fixing my headlight switch before johny law pulls me over..

What's the probablity of me having to replace the switch versus just adjusting the current one? Do you usually find a full replacment is usually what happens or do I have a chance fixing the existing one?

Thoughts....

go to the dealer and pick one up, all you need is a steering wheels puller which you can pick one up for free from just about any parts store, that rent for free program, and pull the steering wheel off, couple of screws, unplug one plug and reverse steps, you should be done in less than 30 minutes.

Mine had problems 50K miles ago till I took it apart and cleaned out the fuzz and lubed it good with WD40. '87 or later...no need to remove wheel?

Still haven't installed the one I bougt from you yet. I got mine off without the steering wheel puller though. I just gave it a pretty good rap on the center bolt, unscrewed it and pulled it right off.
