Ok Ok - I know this topic has been covered a hundred or so times, I can't find the old posts. Have an obvious ground problem with headlights on my 78 280. Took apart both the headlight and the turn signal switches and cleaned them up with contact cleaner and sandpaper and a little dielectric grease after the fact. I have checked/cleaned (sanded) the two grounds in front of the car where the horn units bolt up. Problem still persists. On low beam - the right headlight is very dim and the left headlight basically does not come on. On high beam, the left headlight comes on full bore (brights and all) and the right headlight goes completely dead. I have read previous posts that there are grounds elsewhere to be reckoned with. Any suggestions??

Thanks a million in advance

I had that problem, turned out to be poor contact on the fuses, I cleaned the contacts in the box...the fuses and tightened the clamps and they started shining bright. If that doesn't do it try a secondary ground strap, as heavy as possible.
