Ther'es alot to keep track of in the zx as for wires and vaccume lines, and even weird little coolant lines. I think it would be alot easier in a carbed z. It's not hard, so long as you have the tools and a roll of masking tape to labell everything. I would'nt take any chances with that, unless you know your engine bay by heart. You'll need a 10mm allen socket for the head bolts for sure, and you may find you'll need a couple other things along the way that you don't have. Have fun.

I would take the fuel line off then pop the head with intake and exhaust attached if you got about two more help helping you. If not take intake and exhaust manifold and then take the head off. Don't for get to cocked the timing chain unless you want to take the front cover off. That's easier if you remove the radiator.
