i have a buddy of mine that is going to buy my 83zx, he is going to stuff a v8 into the poor thing. does anyone know where i can get motor mounts or have "blueprints" of the motor mounts so he can make them? I have already checked out JTR....they do NOT hav stuff for the 79-83zx's only for the early z's...

Motorsport Auto has a kit that puts a z-8 into a 79-83zx. The motor and trans mount cost a little over $200 I believe, I don't have my book with me right now. Go to www.zcarparts.com or call them at 1-800-633-6331 and get a free catalog. Also, is this a turbo 83? Let me know if it is. My email is [email protected]
