Green 280zx

So I have been told that a rare factory color that was offered on the 280zx was chartreuse/apple green/lime green/Citrus Green. This is what I am wanting to paint my 280zx as. Does any one have any information on these green 280zxs, maybe some things that were a little different on them?

Only thing that was different was the citrus green paint with black interior (paint code 661).

Also I never came across one that had power anything. It was a base of the base model, manual locks, windows, steering, ect.

I wish I never got rid of my original one.

I know. When I saw it I knew skittle might like it. Thats why I photographed it, just waiting for the right time to show you. I also got to figure out how to post a pic on this new format.

In 79 Datsun made 1500 Green and another 1500 in yellow of these 280ZX's with base no options black interior.
They are hard to find these days.

When I first signed onto this website years and years ago (pre 2004 despite the date it has me listed as), I wanted the name "Skittle" because that is what I have called my car since buying it in 1995. I own one of these and it has been my DD car off and on for 15 years. One power mirror, A/C and that is IT. One just sold here in Richmond about 3 months ago for an undisclosed amount and it was in pretty good shape despite being on a car lot. Mine has the original interior and is pretty much original on the outside as far as body panels...it's been repainted numerous times though. The original owner bought it and had it taken straight to the body shop to have it painted black because in 1979 Atlanta, there were no black ZX's to be found.

I have the window sticker and every receipt and piece of paper on my car since new.
