There is a greasy dirty substance on the doorjam of my car from the hinges, what can I use to remove this?

I use the regular Gojo in the blue and white container to clean everything.

That stuff works great on grease.

Don't use the abrasive stuff.

I don't know if this is what you have but it may be rust proofing. Some cars are pumped full of the stuff especially the door jam areas. It is usually a waxy kind of grease. If this is the case soak it good with WD40 and then you can just wipe or if you dare ,hose it away.
