I am in the process of putting a 91 Stanza Throttle Body on my 76' 2+2.

My dad found some 1" thick plates of Nylon at his work. I am going to try and make a spacer and hope it works. I really don't want to have to have an aluminum spacer made for it.

Any body have any feedback on this?

are the bolt patterns the same? Let me know becouse the aluminium would be you best bet and I can make one easy.C&C mill and all.

where do you live because i would like a spacer for my 240sx TB i got a while back.

Actually a 1"x4" piece of wood will work fine. My neighbor has run one on his TURBO car for a couple of years now. We bought a 60mm hole saw at Home Depot. Old drag racers use to use wood spacers because they are good insulators (kept the carb cooler). We painted it up with engine paint and you don't even notice it.
