Is bleeding out your brake system difficult, easy, or what? I think i need to clean it out. I looked in the rear drum circut reservoir to find goop inside instead of brake fluid. What do I need to do. Should I have it professionally done or try and clean it out myself????

Use a turkey baster to suck it out then bleed your brakes. The new fluid will flush out the gunk.

Be sure to bleed the master cylinders first.

I use...

the turkey baster like blue suggests, then blast out the goop from the reservoir bottom portion of the master cylinder after removing the reservior.
I clean with brake cleaner.

I usually clean the master cylinder in such a fashion about every year or 18 months.

And flushing the system completely every 6 months or before every big track event.

Unless you have some **** good Motul brake fluid with a hellacious wet-boiling point, your fluid is bad after about 6 months anyway for serious brake applications.
