GForce Performance Chip Kit????

Saw these in a URL listing on this site. For $69 do they really work or a rip-off?

If you are talking about the ECU 'upgrade' do not waste your time or money. Do some research for engine management (FAQ has some good links... go figure). Then realize there is no reason, unless very modified, your car will ever need an ECU 'chip'. In addition if you did end up getting one [EMS] you would be looking at $400+ for anything worth while.

Fail rice magazines for indoctrinated our country with this 'chip' lie. What exactly do people think these magical things do?

In the future try to be more specific. There are a lot of products called 'gforce'.
there aren't any replaceable chips in 84 thru 86 ECU's. I don't know about the later years but you didn't specify your vehicle.

All 84-89 300ZX ECU's are capable of receiving NIStune which is the best bang for buck modification you could to the car.
