I have an 83 280ZX 2+2.... Its always started great before. So today, I go out to the parking lot to fire it up (after driving to the store) and it wouldn't start....when I turn it over...it acts like a short or something...so I go get a new battery, thinking its a battery problem....still, the same thing...When I open the door, and teh lights should come on, my voltage gauge slams to to extreme left.....Nothing works...Anyone ran into this? I checked the Fusible Links and all, and like I said I put on a new battery...I had been having a problem where when 'd start it the gauges wouldn't always come on....but that is intermittent....and would disappear when I'd wiggle the ignition switch.....I was thinking that could be a relay or the ignition switch....anyone have any clues for my problem?
