I assume there's a gasket that goes around the carburetor insulator block, but I can't find it in my Motorsports or Victoria British catalogs. Does anyone have a part # handy for these things?

I have none right now, the previous owner of my car replaced the blocks with home-made ones and that make a gasket stuff.. and one of them just cracked. Made for a pretty good smoke show for a minute there, I was glad when I found out that's all it was.

You can only buy the spacers and the gaskets together. They do not come seperatly. I made my own gaskets using two round hole punches that I made and some gasket material. I have since given it to Scott B. at Ztherapy. He sould be able to make you some gaskets. Tell him Wayne sent you.

insulator and gasket were included with my rebuild gasket set from Fel-Pro. Contact any Fel-Pro vendor and they should probably be able to get them

RE: Gasket for carburetor insulator block?

I always buy sheets of gasket materal and make my own, much cheaper and they are real easy to make. Use a small round tip hammer and sizzors and a hole punch. Just tap the outline out with the hammer and the rest is easy. Just about every auto store sells gasket materal in different thicknesses and composition.
