1982 zx n/a--Any ideas on how to remove the gas cap?It wont unlock it justs keeps clicking. The key just spins around and around. Help it's hard to drive without gas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey man i have the same f%^*#@$ problem. I dont know how but i wasnt worried bout it because i just got my car and am not putting it on the road for another 6 monthes. If you get an answer i would like to hear from ya. thanks and good luck

Anybody ever hear of a guy called a locksmith?
I'm sure he can get it to unlock.
Or drill the lock out and use a screw driver to hook up to the lock to cap inner workins and turn counter clockwise.

I am abled to get into my tank when it's locked by pushing in on it as I turn the cap, and the friction in the thing is enough to get it off. I don't know if it will work for you, but it's worth a try at least.

Got it off!!

I got it off, but I had to break it in the process. By the way a locksmith does not do any good when the tab inside is broke. I have to replace the cap anyway, so why pay a locksmith to take it off, throw it away and buy a new one????
