Thank you for your assistance with this! Unfortunately I do not have the box cover, it did not come with the car, and I'm honestly not surprised that some of the wires are not stock, the guy who worked on it before I bought it just used whatever wires he had on hand, which is part of what has made it so hard tracing back wires. I will probably purchase that used box that you sent the link for, and hopefully that will help me with lining everything up.
Fusible Links Wiring for 1980 Datsun 280zx
Can anyone please provide me with pictures of the wiring surrounding the Fusible Links box? Preferably both the top side under the lid and underneath where the wiring goes in.
I recently purchased my first Z car its a 1980 280zx and someone had previously started redoing the wiring and didn't finish so there are a bunch of wires missing from the area around the battery and the fusible links box, including the positive terminal lead for the battery which is also completely missing. I haven't been able to find a good place that shows which wires go to the fusible links box and which go to the other fuses in that area so any info, pictures and diagrams would be greatly appreciated.
I have included some pictures of the area I am referring to which will hopefully provide some context. The first picture is what I've been referring to as the fusible links box, if it's called something else please let me know. Thanks in advance
