I recently bought an '86 n/a to serve as a parts car for my '88 n/a everyday driver. Once I brought the '86 home I realised that it was quite a bit faster then my '88 so I decided to keep it around. The problem is, it only runs when it feels like it. It seems to only start when the temperature outside is in the 70's or below. I can pull it into my driveway on a slant, where it will die if I'm not actively revving it. I can drive it around town for a little bit but it will eventually die. Anytime it dies it won't start for at least a couple hours. The only exception to this is when the cooling fan turns on after the engine is turned off. Everytime the cooling fan turns on, it will work once, but blow the fuze. The car acts like it's vaporlocking under it's own operating temperature. The only thing I can think of is a weak fuel pump, but if any of you have other ideas, I would greatly appreciate any input.
