Hey guys,

If I got a high performance fuel pump, is there a chance to get a fuel pump that pumps too much fuel pressure? Or does it matter? Is there a limit or maximum fuel pressure rated for my 280zxt? Don't know much about fuel systems background or measurements. If u can help would appreciate it. Thank you!

the fuel pressure regulator keeps too much from getting to the injectors, or carb. and with higher output, you can always upgrade your motor without having to worry about starvation.

hey aceant, how many miles does you car have on it? Did you replace your tubo's at some point yet?

No, but you can put a pump on that produces more volume than your return line or regulator could handle. This would just cuase the press to be high at idle at light load. I'm talking a big pump like the blue Paxton. If you are going after market you need to consider volume too, if you're going make big power.

Hey dude,

It's a rebuilt motor. And the turbo was fairly new but was sitting with the car.
