Fuel Pump Leaks from Bolt

1087 Views 10 Replies 7 Participants Last post by  RocklinZ
Hi Fellas,

I put on a new(used from NOW Ventures) fuel pump today and it works! makes noise! and sends fuel to the engine, al the while leaking gas from the bolt with the green wire!

So now I know it was my fuel pump, but how do I fix this leak? I have my old fuel pump and I see it has screws on the top. Can I swap the top part of it and the bolts? Yes I did use new hoses and clamps and triple checked that it was not leaking from a hose.

Am I screwed and need another pump?

Any help is great thanks, guys!

What is "NOW Ventures"? Maybe return it to them and get a replacement or money back, then buy new.
The Ventura was very similar to the Nova can you show us a picture? Norm K.

Are you sure all the hoses are clamped good, some times with loose clamp gas will seep down and leak.
