I have a problem of fuel leaking from the rubber fuel lines under the hood. I think the problem is due to to much pressure in the fuel lines. I have tightened the lines as much as I can but it just keeps happening.

Time to inspect your fuel pressure regulator. It does excatly what the name inplies. check to see where your leak is occuring and test for blockage further up the line. I had the fuel return line on my 78 clog up and spit gas out of a rubber fuel line to the point that it blew gas in my face (not very good visine)
