I have 2 questions. Why is fuel leaking out of one of my carbs? And when I fill up my gas tank to full, it drops down to 3/4 whether I drive up the street to my house or drive 50mi. to San Jose. I know it's not my gauge because after 3/4 it's normal. Thanks.

Wes - It sounds like you have a carb float that has lost the glazing on it that makes it fuelproof and it has soaked up gas and staying at the botton of the fuel chamber. It is fairly easy to replace and not too expensive. The top to the chamber can be removed easily on up-to-72 year models. Don't know about them after that....
