Hi
I am replacing the front seal in my 81 motor, the round disk that sits on the end of the crank right behind the seal is damaged, I have one from my 71 motor, they seem the same and the oils seals seem the same, the book list the seal as diffrent 70- thru- 79 and then 79- thru- 83

Any one know about this? or perhaps have this disk that they could part with from a zx motor

They are interchangeable. It's just an oil slinger. how did it get damaged? All they do is spin. Did something get in the motor? Check your chain out thoroughly before you button the motor back up.

I had trouble with the pulley , the slot on the pulley where it slides on the key broke through ( I put the 71 pulley on the 81 motor)
don't know what happened the metal piece was sitting righ there when I pulled the pulley
