I am in need of a flywheel and pressure plate for my 83 n/a to turbo conversion project. Does anyone have a good source. I checked courtesy nissan today they have the flywheel for ~250. I just want to explore all options before I buy next week.

I got a used flywheel from a '82ZXT 5 speed for $12. Resurfacing and new ring gear installed $60 later. Centerforce II clutch and pressure plate was $225, but you can find stock for much cheaper. The dealer is going to bend you over for parts you can find cheaper elsewhere.

I just bought a resurfaced turbo flywheel from ZBarn for $65.

Have you checked local junkyards? The turbo flywheel is the same as one from a 2+2 or even an 80's nissan pickup. That's what I got when I did mine; its a mid 80's nissan pickup flywheel. $50 for it (and you could still see the cross hatch pattern on the surface). Your other option is to use your n/a flywheel and use a centerforce 2 clutch & plate for the extra grip since the surface area is smaller.
