I have just recently purchased a 1978 280z 2x2. I do not have a owners manual with it, and am curious to what the floor temp light is for.
First time owner.

from what I understand, it goes on when the floor gets really hot from the catilytic converter...say it goes bad...I have never seen one go on, nor ever seen a sensor for it...but I've never yanked the carpet out...
