I looked through the archives and came up with this:

My 82ZXT totally loadeds up with fuel and coated the spark plugs within 5-10 seconds of starting and then stalls and will not restart. This only happens if the outside temperature is (less than appoximatly) 72 degrees F.

The most likley problem is the Head Temp Sensor or the connection to it.

Do you all agree?

I know it could still be something else but is this the most common problem it could be?

Thank you,

Al

Yep, I'd bet money on the cylinder head temp sensor. I've had 2 Z cars, 79 and 86 that would flood, woudln't start a few times, then would start and run for about 15 seconds then die. Took it to get fixed, simple problem. Both times had to do with the chts.
