Anyone for an FAQ section?? The Z is one of the more reliable cars on the market but it does have a few small weaknesses after 20 years . I think that we should work towards a small FAQ section with simple answers . For example my car has no heat, solution check the vaccuum hoses on manifold and Vacuum control Module located ...
It will likely help out the new guys coming here and we all might learn a thing or two . Also I am going to be submitting all of my cool links for the Z over the last couple of years . Remeber any information you give, you will recieve twice as much back .

This is a good idea

A very good idea. I think that it is a BIG project and one that needs the input of the experts.

Not that hard

I think someone (everyone?) should pull the questions and (good) answers from this board as they come up. Then we have to figure out where to keep them, then remind people to check the FAQ when these questions come up again.

Too bad Derek is so slow in implementing improvements to this site. What he's done so far is great, but it't a long time between improvements. I suppose he just doesn't have enough time (maybe he should ask for donations?)

I think it would be a great idea. I keep seeing requests for the same information, and I've probably asked questions that have been posed at least once before. Having a FAQ section to refer to first would certainly shrink postings here.

This is something I've been wanting to setup.

I apoligize for not being as responsive as I could be. It is difficult to find time to devote to this site. I'm setting up a mailing list to discuss what needs to be done on this site.

Though, as we've seen I can't do it alone.

I'm sure many people on this site know far better what questions should be FAQs. If you know of a FAQ and have found or know an informative answer, please email it to me and I'll setup a FAQ section. Something like this is easy to maintain since it is pretty much straight HTML.

Let me know...

Thanks Derek its good to see you around, I was after the FAQ section not because I am tired see postings of the same subject, but because only part of the question may get answered or more input can be given and all the details sorted out . I think this would improve an already great site, I am going to be submitting a collection of my links that other Z people will probably find useful .IZCC is very good but this is more a technical site of repair an modification, which is why I like it so much .
