Anyone know the CR with this setup...F54 turbo block with early E88 head?
Is it OK to do it. I know there are better arraignments but due to alot of reasons this may be the way I have to go for now.
I know but I already have a rebuilt early E88 on a bad L24 and a rebuilt F54 with a bad P90. Do I have to have the E88 combustion chamber made larger before I can put it on the F54?
You will probably have trouble with detonation...at a minimum, you will have to run premium fuel. use a 2mm head gasket, and unshroud the valves , and polish all the sharp edges and threads inside the chambers, and polish the piston tops....but be prepared to buy the spendy gas.
