what do u guys recommend for an exhaust system on mmy 260 z with a sbc and a 5 speed. I would like to run 2.5 off the hooker headers and then into a flowmaster y-pipe and 3 inch back to a muffler in the original location. I don't want it to be loud. something sounding good but not LOUD. SHould i run a resonator in the tunnel and then a turbo muffler in the stock location. Any suggestions?

From my experience, flowmasters have been one of the loudest mufflers around. I would imagine a turbo muffler would be quieter. Borla has always been a favorite of mine. Good tone, not loud or quiet.

That sounds like a good plan. I have that combination on my '79zx V8 with a Dynomax Super Turbo and it sounds just right.
