I'm not ready (financially) to do the turbo swap on my 85 n/a but I the exhaust system has served it's time and I am looking for a new set up.

My question is: What exhaust system can I put on my N/A that will also run well should I do the turbo conversion in the next year or two? I was thinking the 2 1/2" Dynomax Catback that most people are putting on - but will it be to restrictive for what will be approximately a stock turbo in the future?

I've also got installed the K&N Cone filter and replaced the resonator with straight pipe. If it sounds retarded - I don't know much about exhaust. Never toyed with much because I can't weld for crap.

Thanks for any advice!

If you plan on making 300+ hp when you do the conversion then 3"inch would be a better exhaust. I have 3"inch mandral from the turbo to the back I like it not even that loud I used a 3inch cat with a 3inch magnaflow.
