Hiya,
Is there a simple procedure for replacing the driver's side manifold on an 87 300zx? And does anybody have an extra?
Thanks,
Doug

simple!! NOP
some bolts are so old and rusty that they will snap off when you put some torque on them and then you'll have to get them machined out, very comon.

It just might not be that bad. The car has been garage kept for about fifteen years. No offense, man, I respect your work, but does anybody have any actual information for me?
Thanks

assuming that everything is in tip top condition you could remove the intake pipe and simply remove the driver side engine mount. jack the motor up by the oil pan to give you beter access to the manifold. everything else you should be able to feel your way through if you have enough experience to pull it of

you deffinatly dont need to jack the engine up. just remover the intake pipeing, then the heat sheilds, unbolt the crossover pipe and then the down pipe, and simply unbolt the manifold, assuming the bolts are not rusted to **** like they usualy are, its a pretty simple thing to do
