Very easy. remove old engine, and Tranny, all Harnesses, ecu, Fuel Pump, basicly, gutt the Drivetrain from car, and all that goes with it. Then just take some plate steel. measure centerlines, engine width, and height, and weld up some proper engine mounts. You also have to come up with a Crossmember that allows oil pan clearence. After that drop in the motor, being sure that the motor is installed with the belts Forward. Most people mess that part up. After you got it bolted in, easily hook up the z32 tranny after having a "Pretty close" centerline. Weld up a few brackets, and bolt it in. Dont forget to take a Hacksaw, or a Miterbox saw, and cut the driveshaft down. to the proper lingth to the z31 rearend. Any muffler shop can weld it together for you. After the big parts are done, simply put the z32 harness across the floor board and thru to the motor, hook up all the sensors, and just plug in the ECU to the Motherboard under the dash by the Steering wheel. Dont forget to hook up the starter motor, and Alternator. Should start right up, and run PERFECT!!! Youre car will run Very fast with a much smoother startup.
do whatever your pocket book allows! personally i like the vg30dett motor and it makes alot of power but there are more reasonable options out there. vq30det is a really sweet engine but is the same relative size as the engine above, and so is the vg30det. all really nice motors and can make stupid amounts of power for stupid amounts of money. build your vg30e it can handle plenty of power, sounds cooler (IMO), cheaper, and you can work on it easier. just my .02

It fits. There are no step-by-step instructions with pretty pictures for any idiot to follow. If it were that simple, everyone would be doing it. If he has to ask what needs to be done, it's highly unlikely he possesses the abilities to figure anything out on his own.
