Hi,

I have a 1983 Datsun 280ZX (non-turbo) that is stalling when warmed up. It runs perfectly until it reaches operating temp, then stalls and will not start for several minutes. I have replaced spark plug wires, fuel filter, distributer, and rotor. I suspect the fuel pump, but it gets expensive replacing parts randomly. I am reading my Owners Workshop manual, but am also seeking advise. I do not want to take my car to the Nissan dealer unless I have to. Any advise will be greatly appeciated.

Thanks,
Steve

I have a '78 that was stalling when warm... try to clean the connector to your coolant temp sensor (not the coolant sensor that tells you how hot the car is!). Get a volt meter and check the ohm rating of the sensor. If it is not reading right, get a new one.
