I have a f54 ft block with a e88 head @ 10:1 compression in a 240z. I am running 70 SU's and headers. Right now I am using a 81 ZX distributor and stock zx coil. I have done hot-valve job and check timing, fuel mixture, and anything else I can think of. I can turn my carbs way lean and it still is happening. The problem is that my spark plugs keep getting carbon fouled and then I lose a cylinder. I have spent two weekends trying to solve this problem. I am guessing that it is the stock coil is too weak for the high compression and the fuel is not being completely burned. I ordered a MSD Blaster 2 coil.

Does anyone have any guesses?

Thanks
