I have an 83' 280zx non turbo 5spd, and I've been experiencing problems with idle after it's warmed up after driving about 10 or 20 miles at about 70 to 80. It also seems a little rough going 80 and I was told by someone that the idle problem could be the vacuum lines leaking, but I was wodering if this could be caused by something else, something major, on my to do list is to replace the vacuum lines and the breaker plate and if any of the vacuum controllers are bad I'll replace them to. (can I get the vacuum controllers at a regular auto parts store to?)
Thanks for all your help,

Check your pcv system

Many times, a cracked hose in the pcv system will cause rough running. These are the hoses that run from the throttle body to the valve cover and the crankcase vent tube to the pcv valve.

I have the exact same problem with 83 280ZX 2+2
automatic. I just took it to the shop and they wanted to charge me $480.00.
I didn't let them do the work they said I needed
Vacum advance, breaker plate and 4 injector replaced.
I going to attempt to do this my self.
