I was at the local pick a part the other day and was looking under the hood of a few 280ZXs. the majority of them had plastic, electronic turbos?? on the passenger side of the engine. I know that the exhaust manifold is on the other side of the engine, but I couldnt figure out what else these were. They had tubes going up over the valve cover and then back down the other side. However, the tubes ended on the other side of the valve cover. This I know will probably turn out to be a really stupid question, but is it possible to have electronic turbos?

it isn't a turbo, it is just a fan that sucks air from underneath the car to the fuel rail if it gets to hot... it does resemble a turbo though.. =)

That is actually the courtesy hand warmer which goes along with the trouble light.
It also works well if there are no paper towels in the restroom. Now you will have people out measuring flow and figuring out how many psi of boost they can get out of plumbing it into there intake.
