Well first sorry for all the questions guys I new to the Z's. I have a question, I was talking to a fellow race buddy and he said they make an electronic turbo kit for my 77 280. Is this true?? If so what are the advantages/ disadvantages HP gains losses, and where can I find one?

a turbo is a mechanical device. what he might be referring too is a turbo kit with an electronic boost controller and/or additional injector controller or even a turbo kit complete with an aftermarket fuel injection system.

Ok lets put this one to bed YES there is an electronic TURBO look on the Garrett site it's electric driven ment to be used for an assist ot the standard turbo or on diesels mainly for climbing hills. MAYBE someday for everyday use Check out the site and make up your own mind.
